Copywriter

I once split my chin wide open. I still have the scar to prove it. Unlike most kids who split their chin open, it wasn’t from trying out for sports or messing around with friends in the driveway; it was because I was running around the living room as a shirtless four-year-old, refusing to put a top on. I felt free—can you blame me?

I got stitches. It hurt like hell. But they gave me this shimmery, shiny silver Band-Aid, and I thought it was magic. I refused to take it off for weeks. My family went to Disney World, and in every single photo was that glorious silver Band-Aid.

I say all of this to say two things: I’ve realized I’m more of a gold-toned accessory person, and when I love something, I love it hard. And that’s me with copywriting. Nowadays, you’ll hardly ever find me in anything sparkly, but trust me—the sparkle is tucked inside my dry, yet dad-like humor and my constant craving to find more and more creative outlets.
